Book Group - A Tale for Time Being by Ruth Ozeki

This a long overdue book group posting - we read this as a group in November 2013! And whilst we read as a group, we didn't get a chance to meet up and chat through.

I remember from a previous post, that we selected this book because it was on the Man Booker Shortlist, and it was the only one at the time available in paperback! Price wins again. We did read a mix between Kindle and actual book, and the preference was definitely with the paperback as there were a LOT of footnotes as part of the story which made toggling a bit dull, although I do remember after this discussion somehow showed how easy it was to toggle in the Kindle!

There are some resources for the book:
On the whole, I really loved this book. It was definitely not one I would have picked out myself and so it's always at these times that I'm grateful for a group of book loving friends who push the boundaries.

Have you this book? Have you read books you thought you wouldn't like and loved? We'd love to hear from you!
